A no-loss lottery for SQK. Deposit, and your SQK stays 100% yours — withdraw every token whenever you want. While it sits in the pot, your deposit size is your odds of winning a prize that's drawn once a day.
You can't lose your deposit. The only thing ever paid out is a separate prize pot that sponsors seed — never your principal, and never anyone else's. Win or lose, you keep what you put in.
The winner each day is picked by Chainlink VRF 2.5 — on-chain, provably-fair randomness that nobody (not even the team) can predict or rig.
fundPrize. It is never taken from deposits. A future, separately-audited version can route Squeekchain staking yield into the prize automatically; deposits stay 100% withdrawable either way.
Odds are simply your share of all deposits:
win chance = your deposit ÷ total deposits
Deposit more, get more tickets. There's no edge from splitting across wallets — 100 SQK in one wallet or across ten wallets is the same total weight. The live odds shown in the app are your raw deposit share; if you hold a Genesis NFT your real draw weight is higher (next section).
| You deposit | Others in pot | Your chance |
|---|---|---|
| 100 SQK | 100 SQK | 50% |
| 100 SQK | 400 SQK | 20% |
| 100 SQK | 900 SQK | 10% |
Up to 500 players can be in the pot at once.
Hold at least one Squeek Genesis NFT and your ticket weight is multiplied by 1.2 (+20%) when the draw takes its snapshot. One NFT is enough — holding more doesn't stack.
The draw is fully permissionless — no admin pulls the lever. It runs in three steps:
requestDraw. This freezes the snapshot — the exact player set and weights for this round — and asks Chainlink VRF for a random number.settleDraw; the weighted winner is picked from the frozen snapshot and paid the prize instantly. An automatic keeper triggers both steps on schedule, so draws happen on time even if no player lifts a finger. If Chainlink ever failed to deliver, the round can be safely reset (prize rolls to the next day) — see trust & safety.
Deposits and the prize live in two separate accounts inside the contract:
Because the SQK held by the contract is always at least the total of all deposits, every depositor can always withdraw in full — withdrawals aren't even pausable. It's the first thing an auditor should check, and it holds by construction.
What the owner can do is deliberately tiny, and none of it touches your money:
What the owner cannot do: take or move deposits, touch the prize, change anyone's odds, change the +20% boost, swap which NFT counts, or pick the winner.
Everything is on-chain and verifiable. Network: Ethereum Sepolia (chain id 11155111).
No. Prizes are paid only from the separate sponsor-funded reserve. Your deposit is always 100% withdrawable.
No — anyone can deposit and win. The NFT is an optional +20% odds boost, nothing more.
Nobody in particular — it's permissionless. An automatic keeper fires it on schedule, but any player can trigger it too.
No. Winners come from Chainlink VRF 2.5 over a snapshot frozen before the random number is known, and the VRF coordinator is pinned so it can't be swapped. The owner has no winner-picking power.
Minimum position is 1 SQK; up to 500 depositors can be in the pot at once.
They count toward the next round. The current round's players and prize are locked in the moment the draw is requested.
